Vision
By providing a safe and secure environment, incorporating a hands-on project approach to learning, we inspire children to grow, learn, and develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, academically, and physically. We strive to give children an education that will prepare them for success in all areas of life. By creating a partnership with parents, staff, the church, and the community, we want to ensure our children are respectful, responsible, and grateful.

1. Students will develop a positive self-image through Christ, which will positively impact their families, communities, and the world.
2. Students will develop caring hearts and creative minds.
3. Students will develop a life- long learning mentality.
4. Students will reach age- appropriate milestones to prepare them to continue their education in Kindergarten and beyond.

Christ-centered- We look to Him not only as our Savior, but as our example to emulate.
Ethical- We believe there is right and wrong, objective truth, which is to be followed in certain ways in the classroom and on the playground. This truth comes from God and His Holy Word.
Honest-We speak the truth in love so that growth can truly happen.
Innovative- We look to use new and creative teaching methods and theory to enhance our program and further the education of your child.

Director of Children's Ministry

Enrichment and Associate Teacher

I graduated from Concordia University Nebraska, in Seward, and hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and English, and have been teaching for the past 31 years! I grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota, and have been married to my husband, Paul, for 28 years. We have two daughters, Stephanie and Tori.
I enjoy teaching children about God's love for them, how to read, and to do musical activities. I love to participate in messy projects with kids, and seeing the excitement on their faces when they get to participate in learning activities.

I graduated from Lincoln School of Commerce, and hold an Associate Degree, and have been teaching here at St. Paul Lutheran Preschool for more than 15 years!
I grew up in Bloomfield, Nebraska, a small town in northeast Nebraska, and have been married to my husband, Kevin, for 32 years. We have four sons; Josiah, Levi, Luke, and Jesse. My favorite part of teaching is sharing with kids Jesus love for them! I also love coloring and making crafts with them and just getting to know each child!

I graduated from Ankeny and Northwest Missouri State (Go Bearcats!) and have been teaching for the past 28 years. I grew up on a farm in Boone, Iowa, and have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 21 years. We have two children, Millie and Harland.
In my free time I enjoy camping, spending time with my family, and to cook and try out new recipes. I love getting to know the students and watch them grow.

I graduated from Concordia University Nebraska in 2021 with a degree in Art Therapy. This is my first year teaching, but I've had a lifetime of experience helping out in a classroom. I grew up in Portland, Oregon, and moved to the midwest for college and then officially moved to Ankeny in 2019. I love anything that involves art, especially when the kids can tell me a story through their projects.
