Women's Ministry

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

Proverbs 31:25

Life can be crazy, hectic, and downright difficult at times. But through it all, our Heavenly Father has promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and to guide and lead us in the way that we should go. And one of the ways that our Father provides for us through everything, is through other godly women that He brings into our lives, who are willing to share their life stories with us, and lead and guide us in our study of God's Word. We would love for you to be a part of one or more of our Women's Ministry groups here at St. Paul, so that you too may be Rooted in Christ, Growing in Grace, and Reaching the Lost.

Thursday morning ladies bible study

Thursday, November 2 and 16 at 9:30am
Meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month.
In With Burning Hearts Henri Nouwen seeks a fuller understanding of the Eucharist through the story of the disciples on their way to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35). Like these disciples we, too, come together in our brokenness before God, hear the Word and the profession of faith, and recognize Jesus in the breaking of the bread. From mourning to discernment, from invitation to intimacy, and from community to the charge to go forth and witness: With Burning Hearts calls us to experience all of this journey, to know that what we celebrate and what we are called to live are one and the same.

Women's Monday night bible study

Meets each Monday at 6:30pm.
Led by Sarah Newton, the group will be using the book Our Way Home.
When we pray, we're often hesitant. Hesitant to believe that our small voices will be heard by the sovereign God reigning in heaven. Hesitant to think we even have the right words to say. But Jesus gave His disciples—and us—the Lord's Prayer as a guide in our prayer life. This prayer contains words of confession, thanks, recognition, need, and praise; it's the perfect prayer model from our perfect role model.

Our Way Home invites you on an incredibly vivid journey through the Lord's Prayer to dispel your hesitancy and to discover the power, the beauty, and the depth of the world's most famous prayer. Author Daniel Paavola surrounds each petition of the Lord's Prayer with captivating imagery and storytelling that will animate your praying, making it a prayer you not only say with confidence but live out every day—in any situation and in every circumstance.
